Winter Wipeout – Week 1
My house is starting to drive me nuts. Everywhere I walk I see something that needs to be cleaned or picked up or dusted. With the kids being home on school holidays for the last week and Rob at home (because he has now finished up with the bank and is looking for a new job) my normal cleaning routine is not getting done and I feel like I’m living in chaos.
So to help get me motivated again I have decided to start the 2008 Winter Wipeout ( yep it’s winter here in Australia). Each week I’m going to pick one room in the house to focus on. Each Monday I will post a list of all the things that I would like to do in that room and hopefully that will motivate me to get it all done.
This week I am going to focus on one of the kids bedrooms – Caitie and Riley’s bedroom in fact.
Here is what I want to do:
Wash the bed clothes
Air the mattresses
Sort the toys
Store some toys in the garage
Store outgrown clothes
Dust on top of the wardrobe
Put the fan in the garageWash the walls
Wash the curtains
Wash the windows
Detailed vacuum clean
As I accomplish each job I will come back and cross it off the list.

Oh this is a great idea…. I am going to join you, but I am cheating this week…. My girl’s bedroom is actually reasonably tidy so I only have one or two things that need doing. Mind you they have needed doing for the last few weeks so this is just the motivation I need!
Oh my goodness, I will join you in about three months! Right now, I am spendning as much time as I can out in the garden, pulling the weeds around the tomato plants! But, yes I will be in the same position as you come October. Don’t kill yourself!
