Weekly Weigh In
Lately I have been feeling really tired and flat. It is caused by a few different things, my baby is teething so has been waking a lot at night, I’m not going to bed early enough, I haven’t been eating well and I haven’t been drinking enough water. See I know what is causing me to feel horrible and I know what I need to do to feel better but it’s just a matter of doing them.
I have decided that instead of putting myself on a diet I am going to think of it in a whole new way.
I am not dieting I am taking care of myself.
I am not trying to loose weight I am making myself healthy.
I am not going to deprive myself of things like coke and chocolate I am just going to limit them. And I am going to boost up my intake of water, fruits and vegetables.

Have you tried Hyland’s teething tablets? They were a godsend to us.
I can tell you that for me, getting rid of soda the single most important thing that just pushed me into the weight loss zone and out of sugar addiction.
Have an excellent week and I hope that the baby gets to feeling a bit better. Teething is the pits for both of you.
Good for you. I think this is a great plan!
I gotta agree with Jan. Getting rid of soda and coffee was one of the best things I ever did for my health. I felt so much better, my skin cleared up and I lost a ton of weight. Plus I have fibrous cysts in my breasts and caffeine is a trigger for those. I’ve never given up chocolate, though. And in the Abs Diet, Dove dark chocolate is recommended. It has monounsaturated fats, so it supposedly helps burn belly fat. I usually have two of the individual squares every day. I bite off half and suck on it. Prolongs the pleasure and satisfies the chocolate craving.
My sister lost 25 pounds and the biggest change she made was giving up her Diet Cokes!
Keep making healthy choices! Hope the baby feels better soon.
