- Bikkie : biscuit or cookie
- Bizzo : business (“mind your own bizzo”)
- Bloke : man, guy
- Blowie : blow fly
- Bludger : lazy person, layabout, somebody who always relies on other people to do things or lend him things
- Cactus : dead, not functioning (“this bloody washing machine is cactus”)
- Chokkie : chocolate
- Chook : a chicken
- Daks : trousers
- Esky : large insulated food/drink container for picnics, barbecues etc
- Fair go : a chance (“give a bloke a fair go”)
- Fruit loop : fool
- Give it a burl : try it, have a go

This is great fun for me. I speak decent British, but Australian…. Someone said the word “chuffed” and I didn’t quite know what it meant. That’s not on your list – but I looked it up in my favorite – the urban dictionary!
