Our first week of the Read to Me Mission has gone well.

We have all enjoyed spending time reading to each other. I was surprised at just how much my 2 eldest girls have enjoyed being the story teller. They also like to pick the stories they read.
Each night after dinner we all climb onto my bed and make ourselves comfortable. Either Clare or Chloe begins by reading a book or a couple of chapters from a book to us all. Then I finish by reading a couple stories to everyone. It has been really great, it’s also a good way to get the kids to wind down ready for bed :)

We have also been reading the girls home readers that they have gotten from school.
