Frugal Friday – Freeze Milk
Freeze milk. Buy as much as you will need in between shopping days and freeze it. This will save you having to go to the convenience store to purchase more every couple of days.
Make sure you pour a little of the milk out (into another jug) before you freeze it, so that it doesn’t expand and burst the plastic container.

Thanks for sharing. Does it still taste good or the same?
I do this
But I have never had to take some out and I have never had any bottles explode in the freezer…*touching wood*
I do this, too, especially when I can get it at a good price.
And like Tina, I never bother with taking any out. I think I might have had one give me trouble years ago, but not usually.
I used to buy goat milk from a farmer in bulk and I she would freeze it for me. Great tip.
Does it change the texture? I have a very picky 8 year old who can detect the slightest texture change in any food….
