For those of you that missed my Christmas meme ‘It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas’ last week, I’m sorry but I promise that it will be back this Thursday!

Being a Mum can be exhausting, whether you’re a stay at home Mum, work at home Mum or work outside the home Mum. To be a good mother and to look after your family well you need to take time out and look after yourself. Here are some ideas to help you find time doing things for you:
Get a massage
Get your hair done
Get a manicure or pedicure
Be creative – Take some time out for yourself to be creative, whether you’re a scrapbooker, knitter or writer.
Have a night out with the girls.
Once your kids are asleep, light some candles, run a bath and add lots of bubbles and relax.
Plug in your Ipod and go for a walk around the block.
Keep a small box in your cupboard or toy box with your board games, that way if a stray piece is found on the floor it can be quickly thrown in the stray parts box.
