A New Look For My Blog

Published by admin under Blogging

You may have noticed that my blog has had a makeover. It’s a new year so I thought a change was in order. Instead of going for  the bright colours that I normally  deck my blog out with I have gone with something much simpler and cleaner. What do you think? I quite like it, it’s not what I’m used to but I like it anyway :)

Published by admin under Blogging

I have finally jumped ship and moved my blog over to Wordpress. I have to say a huge thank you to Scott at Moms Web for his help with this. He actually did it all for me and I didn’t have to do a thing :)

It’s going to take me a little while to get my blog all prettied up, so please be patient with me and don’t forget if you have my blogspot address bookmarked or in your feedreader you need to update it to www.ajugglingmum.com :)

Plurk v Twitter

Published by admin under Blogging

I have heard a lot of buzz about Plurk lately and to be totally honest I am still undecided about it. There look to be some advantages to Plurk, two differences are that you can follow grouped conversations easily and your contacts can be put into groups or cliques so that you can send out messages to only the cliques that you want to hear you. Both of these have their advantages and I wonder how long it will be before Twitter integrate the same features. I think that for the moment I might just sit back and wait and see :)

Anyway I just watched this YouTube clip from Caroline Middlebrook on her first impressions of Plurk and thought it was worth sharing.

What do you think?. If you already Twitter, do you think you will Plurk as well?

Another 30 Day Challenge

Published by admin under 30 Day Challenge, Blogging

30 Day Challenge
But this one isn’t of the weight loss variety!!!!

I just wanted to quickly tell you all about an online course that I am involved in this year. It’s called the 30 Day Challenge and basically it’s an online course that shows you how to make your first $10 online. They show you step by step how to start your own internet business and start earning money online. The course is now running in it’s 4th year and has helped many people create their own businesses. Some have even made their first million! Don’t be fooled this IS NOT a get rich program and you are actually going to have to do some work but the course is totally free so if you have a little spare time why not give it a go!.

Who is this course for? The course is for beginners that have no knowledge of internet marketing or people who want to learn a little more.

The course starts on 1st August 2008 but they are currently running pre-season lessons to help you get familiar with the tools that they will be using in the challenge.

If you are interested and sign up for the 30 Day Challenge leave me a comment and we can form a team. Apparently teams are important in the whole process!

Published by admin under Blogging

Mommyfest Party

This is the first year I have joined in the fun of the MommyFest Blog Party, so I am looking forward to visit some new Mummy Bloggers :)

I better introduce myself for those of you that are visiting for the first time, I’m Rachel from Western Sydney in Australia and I am the mother of 5 precious but not always so perfect children. My first three kids were girls and they are 10, 8 and 6 years old, next came my son and he is 4 and then we had another baby girls who is 13 months old. They keep me busy and constantly challenged :)

When I’m not blogging I spend my time doing mum stuff, cleaning, taxiing, cooking, playing, caring and nuturing! It’s a difficult job at times but it’s my job and I wouldn’t have it any other way :)

Thank you for popping in and visiting me here, if you have the time pop over to my other blog Fun & Funky Blog Design!

You Can Now Schedule Your Posts on Blogger!

Published by admin under Blogging

Have you heard??? One thing that has always annoyed me about Blogger is that you weren’t able to schedule posts to be published at a set date in the future.

Scheduled post publishing is now live for everyone. If you set a post’s date into the future, Blogger will wait to publish until that time comes.
Thanks Blogger Team!

We are now in Autumn here in Australia, so I thought my summery template needed a bit of an update. What do you think?. It’s not really elaborate but it suits me :)
