I bought my copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows yesterday and started reading it last night. Unfortunetly I was pretty tired so only managed to read the first 21 pages, but so far I’m enjoying it.
I don’t have a great deal of reading time so it is probably going to take me a little while to get through this book but i am looking forward to finally seeing how it all ends.
Leave me a comment if you are also reading it (is there anybody out there that isn’t??? hehehe) and tell me what you think, but please no spoilers

Lara at The Lazy Organizer is the host of Smart Habit Saturday.
What is SHS???
All you do is pick one small daily habit that you want to develop and post about it. Then on Saturday Morning go here and leave a link so that we can read all about it.
We are trying to look after our finances at the moment, so my Smart Habit for this week (and many weeks to come) is to stop using the credit card for purchases.
This means a bit more planning for me, but it will be worth it

Have you ever looked at someone else’s blog and wondered “How do they do that?”, “How did they put that picture in their header?”, “How did they link that picture?”.
Well I’m here to hopefully answer some of these questions for you. I am by no means an expert, but I am going to share with you what I have learnt while trying to change the look of my blog
If you have a question or an idea for a future Behind the Blog post leave me a comment or send me an email.
I have recently been asked how I made the picture links to my other blogs in my left sidebar, (Thanks Misti) so this is going to be my first post
Adding Picture Links to your Blog
Firstly you need the picture. Because I made the headers myself I have them saved on my computer so I was able to easily resize the original header down to make it fit into my sidebar.
If you don’t have the header picture file saved on your computer, you will need to go to the blog or web page where the header is located, right click and SAVE PICTURE AS…..
Once you have it saved to your computer, you need to resize the picture using your photo editing software. I have resized mine to a width of 200 pixels. Then SAVE the image.
Next you need to host the image, I use Photobucket or you could use a similar photo hosting/sharing site.
Once you have the header file uploaded to your photo host, go back to your blogger account. Click on the TEMPLATE TAB and go to the PAGE ELEMENTS section.
Click on ADD AN ELEMENT in the sidebar, then open up the HTML/JavaScript element.
In the content box you need to add the following HTML:
Replace WEBSITE ADDRESS with the url of the website you want to picture to be linked to.
Replace GRAPHIC HOST ADDRESS with the url provided by your photo host.
Replace DESCRIPTION with the name of the blog you are linking to.
Once you have done this click on SAVE CHANGES and view your blog.
I hope this has helped you, if you have any questions or if I haven’t been clear enough about the directions please leave me a comment

Our parents have been telling us for years that we need to eat our vegetables. And we as parents tell our children that they need to eat our vegetables. We do this because we know the importance of vegetables in our daily diet. Vegetables supply us with essential vitamins and minerals that keep us all healthy. But most of us don’t eat an adequate amount of vegetables. So I was very excited to find My Daily Veggies.
My Daily Veggies is a delicious blend of whole dried vegetables that you can mix with water and drink, or mix into your favorite dishes to boost their nutritional value. They come in single serve packets which contain two full servings of whole vegetables.
My Daily Veggies sachets are made up of 95% dried whole vegetables and 5% dried whole vegetable extracts. You get the same fiber, the same vitamins, the same minerals, enzymes and phytonutrients as real fresh (or canned or frozen) vegetables. The only things missing are the salt and sugar that many manufacturers add when they process foods.
My Daily Veggies contains NO added salt, NO added sugar, NO preservatives.
We are all busy these days and so the convenience of not having to worry about our families vegetable intake is very helpful.
Whats even better is that they are currently offering us all a My Daily Veggies Free Sample!
