I am on track with this weeks decluttering. Admittedly I don’t have a great deal to declutter but there are a few jobs here and there that I have been putting off for a while, so it feels good to get them done

Yesterday I cleaned out the 2 cupboards in the tv unit and today I have put away the Christmas tree and the decorations.

The loungeroom looks very clean and bare now that the decorations have been put away, I like it, but I do have a corner that is looking very bare. I’m not sure what to put there perhaps a small table with a nice vase of flowers…. .hmmm that’s an idea

This week I am working on the entrance, lounge and laundry.

Today we had a very relaxed day, being New Years Day, but I thought I had better still do something. So I pulled out all the catalogues that I had been saving over Christmas and threw them all in the recycling bin.

Some other areas that need to be decluttered this week are:

• tv unit cupboards
• put away the Christmas decorations
• tidy the shoe rack
• and sort out the box of odds and ends in the laundry

If I do a job a day I’ll have it all sorted by Friday
