School Uniforms

I took Caitie to the uniform shop today to buy her school uniforms ready for next year. I thought I’d get them now rather than wait until the new year when they are always really busy. I timed it really well, because we were the only ones there. She got 2 school dresses, a sports skirt, a sports tshirt and a school hat. I also had to get Chloe 2 new dresses as hers are getting a little short and I got each of the girls a new hat.

She looks so cute and so grown up in her school uniform. I can’t believe my 3 girls will all be in school next year. I must say that I am quite looking forward to only having Riley at home during the week days next year. Until the baby comes along that is :) And I have to get through the Christmas school holidays with them all at home before I can have some peace ;)

Christmas is just 2 weeks away!

I can’t believe Christmas is so close. It’s scary how fast this year has gone.

The last couple of weeks have been full of parties, Mums Group Christmas Party, the girls Dance Christmas Party and Caitie’s Preschool Christmas Party. We’ve also had Caitie’s Preschool Graduation and a Christmas Carol Sing-a-Long Morning Tea at Preschool. We’ve had a couple of family and friends birthdays and there’s still more to come. Chloe and Clare have their presentation day, we have our extended family Christmas party, Caitie has a birthday party to go to, Carols by Candlelight and then their is Christmas Day and Boxing day with the relo’s :) It’s a busy, busy time of year :)

I have however finished my Christmas shopping which I am very excited about. It’s nice to be finished and not have to go back into the shops to battle the crowds again :) Rob and I left the kids with Mum and Dad on Sunday and went into the Plaza to finish off the shopping. I’m glad that we didn’t take the kids with us because the crowds were crazy.

All I have to do now is buy and prepare my share of the Christmas food and that’s pretty easy. So now it’s time to relax and just have fun :)

Washing Machine Water

I finally got a hose to connect to my washing machine so that the water would run out onto the back lawn and not be wasted down the drain.

I’ve been meaning to get one for ages but hadn’t gotten around to it and we were in Bunnings on the weekend and I saw them there so I grabbed one.

I feel so much better that we are no longer wasting all that water. I usually do at least 2 loads of washing a day, so that is a hell of a lot of water that we were wasting each day. But now it is going out onto my lawn and helping to green it up, it’s looking very dry and yellow at the moment.

20 weeks today!!!

Just a quick post to say that I’m 20 weeks pregnant today! 20 down, 20 to go :)

The last 20 weeks have gone so quickly, I hope that the next 20 go as fast :)
