I wanted to fix a few things up, so I have taken my podcast of iTunes for the moment, but it should be up and running again in a couple of days.

It arrived……… I finally have my laptop!

I am so excited, I have spent the day downloading all the programs that I need and all I need to do now is transfer my documents from my old computer

Currently I am sitting in my comfortable armchair with my feet up and my laptop in front of me. It’s much more comfortable than my hard desk chair.

Anyway I just wanted to share, I’ll be working on next weeks podcast over the weekend, so keep your ears out for it on Monday or Tuesday!

I have finally stumbled across a way to handle pocket money that is working for us.
I give my eldest two girls $2 each on a Monday.
They decide how they want to spend it.
They can save it by putting it in their money box or they can take it to school and spend it at the canteen, or they can save it for the weekend and spend it at the shops.
They have been told that the $2 is to last them the week.
So if they spend it all on Monday, then they don’t have any more for the rest of the week.
It is helping them to understand money and how to budget their money.

Well this is a huge deal for me…….. I have been researching and saving and wanted a laptop for years and finally yesterday I ordered a Dell Laptop.

We currently only have the one computer, which is used by everyone in the family apart from Riley. So 5 people trying to use the computer is not good. We have even had to go as far as to make a roster for the girls so that they don’t fight over it.

So as you can tell I am very excited

I’m hoping to write abit more on my blog from now on and not just use it for my podcasts
