2006 Achievements and 2007 Goals
I have decided to make a list of the things that I have achieved this year as well as a list of goals for next year. So here goes:
- Got a hose to use the grey water from my washing machine to water my lawn.
- Established my vegetable garden
- Got a compost bin
- Made a bigger effort to recycle our rubbish
- Starting meal planning
- Started researching living simpler and cheaper
- Started A Juggling Mums Podcast
- Started A Juggling Mums Website
- Continued to sponsor Laura through Worldvision
- Conceived baby #5
Goals for 2007
- Look at drip irrigation for my vegetable garden
- Keep my vegetable garden going
- Compost as much as possible
- Continue to recycle
- Continue to Meal plan
- Pack healthier lunches for the family
- Eat healthier in general
- More quality time for the kids
- More help with homework etc.
- Better routines for the family
- Live cheaper - save more money
- Learn more about Wicca
- Schedule Mummy time for me
- Schedule more time for Rob and I
- Continue my website
- Find a new way to podcast
- Make a bigger effort regarding kids chores and pocket money
- Less brought snacks and more baking
- Get fit and stay fit
- Master Flyladys routines
- Get Riley to sleep in his own bed before the new baby arrives
- Continue to sponsor Laura
- Sell on eBay again
- Give more to charity
- Start and end the year lice free (ewwwwww)
- Start a store cupboard
- Buy a chest freezer and freeze more stuff
- Do one frugal thing each week
- Eat dinner at the dining table each night
- Look into buying in bulk
- Look for cheaper fruit and vege
- Get the cat desexed before the new baby arrives.
- Pick a name for this baby before she arrives

Wow — that’s some list.
Makes my vague fuzzy list of “focus more on my own health” and “get more organized” pale in comparison.
